From Corporate Engineering to Demolition in Houses
For 15 years, our founder engineered and managed massive, multi-million dollar construction projects. But the ultimate goal was always freedom. In 2020, he walked away from the safe, steady corporate paycheck to turn a passion for home remodeling into a full-time business.
Trading a desk for a toolbelt meant going all in. We began flipping 8 to 10 houses a year. This wasn't just cosmetic work; we were in the trenches. We busted out concrete slabs to add bathrooms, ran new plumbing, hung and floated sheetrock, installed water heaters, and replaced HVAC units. We learned exactly what it takes to manage crews, control material costs, and sweat out a deadline.
The Marketing Industry is Broken for Small Businesses
As our remodeling business grew, we needed more leads to find distressed properties. We hired multiple marketing agencies, but they all had the same problem: they didn't understand the dirt-under-the-fingernails reality of our industry. They cared about "clicks," but we needed closed deals.
